Taking a mix to the car or off the laptop after a long day, and feel you’ve pushed the top end, or find your mix a little dull and safe? Use this carefully researched tool to make a subtle and phase aligned macro adjustment to your mix, to help you lean it back in the right direction
Turn the knob clockwise to brighten and open your mix. This detailed combination of eq, multiband compression & upward expansion will lift your mix.
Turn the knob counterclockwise to tame harsh top end and add warmth to your mix. Rolling off digital high end and using a special combination of multiband and parallel compression.
Ideal for:
Subtle and safe adjustments to a full mix
Darkening audio that was recorded harsh, or with cheaper microphones and converters
Taming digital top end in samples that sound great alone, but not in the context of your mix
Add top end frequencies to audio recorded with ribbon microphones that isn’t quite cutting in the mix, without adding harshness
Toggle between instrumental, full song & vocal mode to use a customized algorithm for each use case.
“Full Song” mode considers a full mix including vocals
“Instrumental” mode is designed for non vocal music to find extra clarity and precision
